Visualize your year, track resolutions, and gain perspective on time with beautiful pixel grids and lifetime views.

Getting Started

1. Launch Year Progress on your device
2. Complete the interactive onboarding to learn about:
   • Year Ring visualization
   • 365-day Pixel Grid
   • Resolution tracking
   • Lifetime perspective
3. Explore the main tabs: Progress → Lifetime → Resolutions → Settings
4. Optional: Set your birthday in Settings for accurate lifetime calculations
5. Optional: Subscribe to Pro for enhanced features

Year Progress Visualization

• Create and manage personal goals with start/end dates

Common Issues

Widgets Not Updating

• Widgets refresh automatically at midnight and noon
• Force refresh by opening the main app
• Check that you have granted the app necessary permissions
• Remove and re-add the widget if issues persist

Resolution Progress Not Syncing

• Ensure you’re signed in to iCloud on all devices
• Check Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → iCloud Drive is enabled
• Open the app on each device to trigger sync
• Allow a few minutes for CloudKit to propagate changes

Birthday/Age Showing Incorrectly

• Go to Settings tab → Birthday Picker
• Verify your birthday is set correctly
• Changes apply immediately to Lifetime Grid

Can’t Check In for Today

• Make sure you’re tapping on the current day in the weekly calendar
• Check that your resolution’s date range includes today
• Try force-quitting and reopening the app

Onboarding Shows Every Time

• This may occur after app updates or reinstallation
• Complete all 4 onboarding pages to save your preference
• Use the “Skip” option if you’re familiar with the app

Language Support

Year Progress supports multiple languages:

• English
• German
• Chinese (Simplified)
• Japanese

Change language: Settings → Language Selector → Select your preferred language

Subscription & Pro Features

Year Progress offers a Pro subscription via RevenueCat:

• Enhanced features and capabilities
• Manage subscription in Settings → Pro Subscription card
• Cancel anytime through App Store Subscriptions

System Requirements

• iOS 16.0 or later for iPhone and iPad
• macOS 13.0 or later
• watchOS 9.0 or later
• Internet connection for CloudKit sync and Pro subscription
• iCloud account for cross-device sync

Privacy & Security

• Resolution data synced via CloudKit with end-to-end encryption
• Local Core Data storage on your devices
• RevenueCat handles subscription management
• No personal data collected beyond what’s necessary for app functionality
