Find hospitals and doctors across Nepal — browse listings, filter by specialty, and access contact details quickly.

Getting Started

1. Launch HospitalsNepal on your device
2. Browse the Hospitals tab to find hospitals near you or by name
3. Browse the Doctors tab to find doctors by specialty
4. Tap any hospital or doctor card to view full details including contact information
5. Use the search bar to quickly find a specific hospital or doctor
6. Filter doctors by specialty using the specialty filter bar

Features

Hospitals

• Browse a comprehensive directory of hospitals across Nepal
• View hospital details: address, contact numbers, emergency contacts, and services
• Tap to reveal contact information and call directly from the app
• Search hospitals by name

Doctors

• Browse doctors with profiles including specialty, qualifications, and associated hospital
• Filter by medical specialty to find the right type of doctor
• View doctor details and contact their hospital directly

Search

• Full-text search across hospitals and doctors
• Results update as you type

Common Issues

No Data Loading / Empty List

• Ensure your device has an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
• Pull down to refresh the list
• If the issue persists, the server may be temporarily unavailable — try again in a few minutes

Contact Information Not Showing

• Tap the “Reveal” button on the hospital or doctor detail page to display contact information
• Ensure you have an active internet connection

Search Not Returning Expected Results

• Try a shorter or more general search term (e.g., “Bir” instead of “Bir Hospital”)
• Search is not case-sensitive; partial matches are supported

App Crashes or Freezes

• Force-close and relaunch the app
• Ensure your device is running iOS 17.0 or later
• Update to the latest version of HospitalsNepal from the App Store

System Requirements

• iOS 17.0 or later
• Internet connection required to load hospital and doctor data

Privacy & Security

• No user accounts or personal data required
• Hospital and doctor data is fetched from the HospitalsNepal backend API
• No location data is collected or used
